Profile summary
Desiree is presently completing the PhD professional practice in psychology with her focus investigating ‘how language used in anti-bullying policies induces individual interpretation’. She was a previous PGCE student at Canterbury Christchurch and has previous Masters in Psychology and social sciences. She is a teacher - Head of Psychology at a local school and examiner for AQA. (A level)
Her interest in educational policies comes from her previous research into effects of bullying and failing practices within schools. She is looking in depth at the key elements that are involved in inducing interpretation and that in turn, may lead to incorrect use of anti-bullying policies within a school.
