How to Generate Auto-Captions and Transcripts in ReCap
As the owner of a media item you can generate captions and a transcript where audio is clear. To do this:
- open ReCap and go to your My Media
- hover your mouse over media that you wish to caption and choose 'More...'
- on the left-side menu choose 'Accessibility'
- choose 'Auto Caption'
- select your preferred language (default is 'English' and choose 'Send Caption Request')
The process may take some time, particularly for longer media. The video guide below demonstrates how to generate auto-captions for a ReCap recording (or re-generate the auto-captions if you already have captions available).
