Digital Code of Conduct

The Digital Code of Conduct (approved at Academic Board in December 2020) aims to ensure that participants in any online event organised by the University, such as webinar, video conference, online chat, or discussion forum benefit from the activity and are not subject to abuse or discrimination in the digital environment. The Code covers the use of Blackboard Collaborate, Blackboard Discussion Board, Microsoft Teams, Mentimeter and others. 

The Code applies to all staff, their students and external guests. Organisers of events with external participants should forward, or provide a link to, this Code in advance or guide them through the Code at the beginning of the event.
