A positive learning environment for both students and staff is promoted through Learning and Teaching conferences, University Teaching Excellence Awards and supporting tools, including the Traffic Lights Toolkit.

Traffic Light Toolkit

The Traffic Lights Toolkit (TLT) represents a set of innovative mediating tools based on the traffic light colours, locally developed at Canterbury Christ Church University with the support of the HEFCE Higher Education Innovation Fund.

Learning and Teaching Awards

In recognition of the importance of Learning and Teaching, LTE annually award University Teaching Excellence Awards and support staff to apply for National Teaching Fellowships (NTFS) and Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE).

Learning and teaching Small Grant Fund

 CCCU staff can apply for a small Learning and Teaching grant to support initiatives which enhance HE learning, teaching and assessments practices, research, scholarship and evaluation at CCCU.
