Several progression routes and certificates are provided and supported through Learning and Teaching Enhancement at the University to encourage staff to continue to develop their teaching practice while working at Christ Church.

MAP:HE

“My Accredited Pathway to HE”, in short, MAP:HE, is Canterbury Christ Church University’s Higher Education Academy (HEA) accredited route to gaining HEA Fellowships, for all staff at the University.

UCAP

The University Certificate in Academic Practice (UCAP) is a 20-credit Master level module which introduces participants to the foundation knowledge, skills and values for academic practice in HE.

PGCAP

The Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice is a 60-credit Masters level course that provides practical grounding in learning and teaching in HE.  Successful completion leads to a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
