Rongdi has been studying full-time for a PhD in Business and Management at Canterbury Christ Church University from March 2019. She holds a MA degree in English Language Teaching from Coventry University. Prior to joining CCCU she worked as a Sales Manager and a Business Development Manager in UK-based companies. Before embarking on academic study, she worked for number of years separately as a teacher, a Director of Teaching in the head school of an international school chain as well as a Vice-Director of the head teacher office of the school under a holding group in top 200 in Fortune Global 500 and top 200 in the Forbes Global 2000 listing.

PHd Focus

Rongdi is exploring the factors that are likely to affect sustainable product packaging innovation as well as adoption decision towards reducing or eliminating plastic use on product packaging and to investigate the interrelationship and interactive effect between customer interface and environmentally friendly packaging innovation. She is committed to developing effective strategies to promote plastic free or reduced plastic packaging innovation towards reducing or eliminating plastic use on product packaging.
