Mehfuzul’s academic qualifications (Masters & MBA) show his knowledge and capabilities for teaching in HE sectors in the UK. He has been studying part-time for a PhD in Business and Management at Canterbury Christ Church University from April 2021. He is exploring impact of institutional forces on corporate social responsibility in Bangladesh leather industry. His publications, research interest and works revealed specialised dimensions of his profession. Having completed an MBA in Management (Liverpool John Moore University, UK), honours and a master’s in management (University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh) he is ambitious to establish his career in the field of academia.

With over a decade of academic experience as an educator, his professional voyage has included several academic qualifications and training workshops. He has also achieved the status of SFHEA in 2021, which has strengthened and boosted his confidence in teaching and managing at HE level. These experiences have helped him to develop as an effectual academician, to successfully hold the Programme Manager position at London Churchill College, where 80% of the teaching sessions are covering by full-time academic staff and remainder are by part-time lecturers. He oversees managing the academic team members who are engaged with thousands of BAME students for HND programs (Hospitality Management, Health & Social Care and Business Entrepreneurship) at Levels 4 and 5.

He is responsible for designing and leading academic team to implement effective curricula and engage with diverse stakeholders such as Pearson, QAA, OfS and SLC to build consensus and deliver positive performance. In his current role he also ensures that the College follows key rules and regulations, so that it can provide students and tutors with the best possible academic service.

Research & knowledge exchange

His major research interests include corporate social responsibility, institutional forces & critical management studies.
