Discover new opportunities and enjoy uni life through sport. Whether you simply want to give something a go, take part in a social league or find out about our Sport Scholarships.
Social sport gives you the chance to try new activities and make new friends. All activities are delivered at a beginner level and are perfect if you’re looking to learn something new with a focus on fun. All the equipment is provided so when you’ve found what you want to try, come along and give it a go! Sports include basketball, climbing, badminton, volleyball and more! Our timetable will begin September 2020. To stay up to date with the latest sessions and dates, follow Christ Church Sport & Active Health on social media.
Our Social Leagues mean you can play semi-competitively with friends, house mates, societies, or even academic course groups. Just get a team together and enter! The leagues will be starting back up from October 2020 and available to join from the Sport & Active Health webpages.
We are committed to supporting student athletes to succeed in both their academic and sporting pursuits, through our Sport Scholarship programme. The University is recognised by Sport England’s Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme as a Dual Career Accredited Site and prides itself on supporting talented sportspeople. Find out more.
My experience with the scholarship programme was very positive. One of the things that helped me the most was the readily available support from the staff at the sports lab with testing which helped me keep track with my progress during training and competition season.GloriaHuman Biology Graduate and Former Sport Scholar
