Student Internships in Events, Tourism and Hospitality

We offer a range of paid internships to our Events, Tourism and Hospitality students, offering the chance to collaborate with us on important research.

Events, Leisure and Tourism

Ruby Berkeley-Cornner

Ruby Berkeley-Cornner worked with the Tourism and Events Research Hub to look into business perceptions of work placement opportunities for young people. This involved looking at the skill requirements that business have, and the barriers and benefits of providing work placements for young people.

Louise Stockley

Louise Stockley undertook a 10-week collaborative project between the CCCU Tourism and Events Research Hub and Kent Wildlife Trust. The project was designed to inform Kent Wildlife Trust’s Tyland Barn in their work to develop an interpretation strategy, which would communicate their ‘Living Landscape’ philosophy/key conservation messages and meet the needs of the contemporary visitor.

'The internship has given me an opportunity to develop my skills and my confidence working in a professional environment.'
