When you first arrive, it can be a bit disorientating, but it won’t take you long to find your way around campus and feel settled in.

It’s easy to find your way to, and around our campus and buildings at Canterbury and Medway via our online interactive maps.

To help you find your seminars and lectures, you’ll be given a room code.

Rooms are usually numbered as follows:

  •  The first Capital letter/s indicates the building name.
  • The second letter or number indicates the floor i.e.: g or 0 = ground, f or 1 =first, s or 2 =second etc
  • The last number indicates the room number.

For example:

ER.0.02 is Erasmus building, ground floor, room 2

Nf03 is Newton building, first floor, room 03

But note, some buildings are numbered differently.

If you’re having trouble finding your way around don’t worry, there are always plenty of people to ask for help as well as the i-zone help desks on every campus.

Check out our 360 tour of Augustine House to help you get familiar with the building before you even arrive.
