If you’ve applied for a course which requires an interview or audition, you’ll be invited to attend by email. Interviews can feel daunting, but there are lots of ways to prepare and feel confident.
Depending on your course and the time of year you have applied, your interview could happen in-person at one of our campuses, or online. The Admissions team will contact you ahead of your interview to let you know.
You will receive more detailed information about your interview via email. You will also be given details of specific content, that is relevant to you, to help prepare. Take the time to go through this and plan for the different activities.
Re-read your application and personal statement. It’s a good idea to refresh your memory so you’re prepared for questions about your application in interview.
If your interview is on campus, we recommend you check what time the interview is and think about how you’ll get there.
Online interviews are conducted using Microsoft Teams, which can be accessed via a PC, laptop, tablet, or mobile device. We will email you all of the relevant details, links, and instructions of how to join 24-48 hours prior to your interview time and date.
In most cases, international applicants who require an interview will be interviewed online as a matter of course.
If your application requires a pre-CAS interview, you will be invited by our Admissions team. Your email invitation will contain all the instructions you need to access your interview and to help you prepare.
The interview is our opportunity to get to know you and why you have applied to study with us. You could get asked the following questions, so we recommend thinking about your answers ahead of the interview:
During the pre-CAS interview, we are here to support you and advise. Once complete, our Admissions team will contact you to let you know if you have been successful and send you further information on your CAS and the VISA application process.
You can find more detailed information about how to prepare for pre-CAS interviews on our visas and immigration page.
