This interning experience has helped me with my politics degree in many ways. I have now formed a very strong interest in European Politics. Being in the Parliament made me realise how important it is to each and every member states. By forming an interest in European politics it has made my EU modules more interesting. I feel that if students enjoy a subject they will succeed in it and get better grades.
This internship has also helped me to get a job as a Parliamentary Intern. I recently applied for the job and I got called for an interview. When I was being interviewed I was asked about my time in The European Parliament and the person who was interviewing me was very impressed!
