"Studying Law at Christ Church gave me some great opportunities that I would not have got with any other university."

Greg Dunne  LL.B. graduate

Our single honours Law LL.B is most often the route taken by those who want to become a solicitor or barrister. However all of our LL.B. degrees are fully qualifying Law degrees.  You can choose any of these if you wish to become a lawyer as they all provide the qualifying route for you to be able to progress to the Legal Practical Course (LPC) or Barrister Professional Training Course (BPTC) post-graduation.

Should you want to add something more to the LL.B. or if you are interested in a different career, then by combining law with another discipline such as Business or Criminology or one of the other 6 combinations available, you can graduate with a full law degree as well as giving yourself greater opportunities in Business, Marketing, Paralegal, Banking, Criminology, Social Work, Policing and other areas.

Single Honours LL.B.

Our single honours LL.B. programme is original and innovative, adopting a unique approach to the study of law by combining traditional law perspectives with a focus on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practice – an increasingly sought after skill for solicitors and barristers. This stimulating and applied course will help you develop key transferable skills that will make you a valuable asset to any employer. Find out more about our Law LL.B.
