What is a Foundation Year?

Many of our degrees are offered with a foundation year (Year 0 of a four year degree). A foundation year is an ideal route for those who have the ability to study at degree level but don’t have the entry requirements for their chosen subject. It's an introduction to uni life and your chosen subject, delivered in a supportive environment where you can develop the, knowledge, skills and understanding for further study.

Visit our Foundation Years page to find out more.

As well as exploring your study options, coming to the CCCU Foundation Year Open Evening is a fantastic opportunity to discover our location in the historic city of Canterbury, Kent.
