Whilst you might not need to think about booking train travel or car parks, there's still plenty to know in advance of a virtual event. We want you to get the most from your virtual event, so we have put together a list of practical things you can do in advance.
We have virtual events happening throughout the year, so recommend that you take a bit of time in advance to get ready using our tips below!
Seems obvious, right? But don't underestimate how important a bit of research is. We recommend that you look through our courses and find the ones you'd like to learn more about.
We will cover lots of different subjects and subject areas during our virtual events, so make sure you know which ones you're most interested in finding out about. You are obviously welcome to come and go at any point, but make sure you book onto the right subject area to ensure you find out what you need to know.
Our virtual events have plenty of opportunities for you to ask your burning questions. Think of questions relating to the courses you are interested in – you will have the chance to speak to academics. Also think of practical and social questions, as current students are often on-hand for a chat.
Whether you're attending the virtual event on your PC, laptop, tablet or phone, it's worth getting a work station ready. Have something on-hand to write notes, have a drink and something to snack on with you, and check your internet connection!
If you have any questions in advance of your Virtual Open Day, please don't hesitate to contact our team! You can find contact details of the Course Enquiries team on this page.
