The ERG Conference is back, taking place on 23-24 January 2023.

About the Ecology Research Group

The Ecology Research Group (ERG) within the section of Natural and Applied Sciences at Canterbury Christ Church University has been active for over 30 years. The ERG aims to deliver user-defined solutions through research and consultancy.

Research within the ERG is organised into three research clusters:

  • Biodiversity and Conservation
  • Agriculture and Food Security
  • Environmental Change and Resilience

We welcome contact from all potential partners regarding research and/or consultancy work.

ERG Conference 2023

Canterbury Christ Church University is organising a conference with their Ecology Research Group. This will take place in Canterbury, UK, on 23rd and 24th of January 2023.

We are looking for oral/poster presentations related to our key research clusters:

  • Biodiversity and Conservation
  • Agriculture and Food Security
  • Environmental Change and Resilience

The conference will be held across two days. On day one, the theme is “New Arrivals and old Friends: Species Invasion and Reintroduction in a Modern Context". On day two, the conference will be split across three rooms, covering presentations on each of the three research clusters. There will also be a networking event in the afternoon of day two for each of the research clusters.
