Project title

Nigeria Foreign Policy: A Focus on the Development of the National Economy

Project summary

My research focuses on the benefits of space technology to Nigeria’s domestic economy and foreign policy. This interdisciplinary research draws on realism and the structures of power in the political economy. It seeks to develop outcomes that would be leveraged upon to strengthen Nigeria’s regional hegemony.

Biography

I completed my Masters in International Business and Management at the University of Bedfordshire in 2013, and my BSc in Public Administration and Political Science in 2008. I became a Fellow of the HEA in 2019.

I started teaching in Higher Education in September 2016 at Christ Church Business School and the Department of Politics and International Relations in February 2020. I have taught several subjects which includes Global Politics, Politics and International Relations, Academic Professional Skills, Business Management and Marketing.

While my academic interest lies in international relations, political economy, and modern technology, I also have interest in feature writing, travelling, and knowledge exchange programmes.

Along with my teaching, I also had administrative experience at Canterbury Christ Church University Registry, where I was responsible for students’ record and assessment. In Nigeria, I had been involved in several private and public projects. These include setting up of manufacturing plant in Lagos, production of industrial dispensary containers and communal social responsibilities.
