The report looks at modes by which to seize opportunities, mitigate risks, and identify specific ‘asks’ of the national government on behalf of the county, at a time when the national Brexit schedule itself is still being hammered out. In this way, the report identifies key ways in which national and local government can take the right decisions to benefit both businesses and communities across Kent and Medway.
Dr Amelia Hadfield, co-author of the report, was also interviewed on BBC South East’s TV breakfast news to discuss the report's findings and impact.
