In this blog, we will introduce our new project for international alumni – a dedicated community on LinkedIn.  

Our vision is to establish a community - an invaluable network of ambassadors, advocates and supporters, creating opportunities for international alumni to connect with each other and to forge a direct link with Canterbury Christ Church University.

 

How we started

The pilot for the current International Alumni group were dedicated Alumni Chapters for India and Croatia. The new group is managed by me, Ena Begovic, International Alumni Ambassador from Croatia, with support from International Partnerships and Development - making the group truly global at heart. 

I’m proud to be the Founding Alumna of this group; helping other students, graduates and alumni to connect has always been my mission. It is fantastic opportunity to stay in touch with CCCU and other alumni. Back when I was student I worked as an International Student Ambassador, and I know how important it is for international students to have a sense of community. In this group you can continue to have one even after you graduate.

Today, the group has 56 members and counting, and is an inclusive, international community with members from all around the world.

If you’re an international student, recent graduate, or alumni of Canterbury Christ Church University, you can ask to join the group here.  Please ensure you have Canterbury Christ Church University listed on your LinkedIn profile.

Once you join the group, you can find exciting social events and professional development opportunities, both in-person and online. The group offers an opportunity to network with other Christ Church graduates and showcase your professional journey on the platform. Alongside events hosted by the University, we also post relevant news from the British Council and other key organisations.
