Learning Outcomes

Anxiety is a natural response that can be helpful in many situations. However, sometimes people feel that anxiety may impact how well they perform in certain circumstances. Students often cite exams or making presentations as examples of these situations. Understanding anxiety and recognising your own feelings and what prompts them will help you consider ways in which to approach and organise your studies.

  • Develop your understanding of anxiety and our response to it.
  • Understand how and why we experience the physical symptoms of anxiety.
  • Learn how anxiety may be reduced or increased.
  • Consider ways of managing feelings of anxiety around exams and assessments.
