Posters are first and foremost a visual communication to provide information to viewers. An academic poster is a visual tool for the communication of a project or as a way of raising an awareness, inciting a discussion or a debate. This module covers the basics of academic poster design, including an exploration of how posters differ from essays, how to condense information and how to grasp the attention of your audience.
