Profile summary:

I have been a Digital Academic Developer at Canterbury Christ Church University since September 2001, advising and supporting programme teams across various Schools in the pedagogy, design and evaluation of technology enhanced learning.

I have a lead within the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Team for Digital Assessment and manage the University’s ReCap Digital Learning Capture, as well as Padlet, services. My research interests are also around digital assessment, specifically plagiarism prevention and electronic feedback. I also have an interest in blended learning, particularly flipped classroom approaches and their potential to promote and support independent learning and improve outcomes for our learners.

I have spoken at numerous conferences and published around electronic assessment, as well as been a proposal reviewer for an international plagiarism conference.

I hold a Masters Degree in Digital Education from the University of Edinburgh. Prior to joining the University, I worked in software engineering.
