Profile summary:

I have been a Learning Designer at Canterbury Christ Church University since September 2001, advising and supporting course teams across various Schools and subject areas in the pedagogy, design and evaluation of digital learning.

I have a lead within the Digital Learning & Learning Design team for Sustainability and AI and manage the University’s ReCap Digital Learning Capture, as well as Padlet, services. My research interests are also around digital assessment, specifically academic misconduct prevention and digitalfeedback. I also have an interest in blended and online learning, particularly their potential to promote and support independent learning and improve outcomes for our learners.

I have spoken at numerous conferences and published around digital assessment, as well as been a proposal reviewer for an international plagiarism conference.

I hold a Masters Degree in Digital Education  from the University of Edinburgh. Prior to joining the University, I worked in software engineering
