Profile summary
joined Canterbury Christ Church University in 1999 as a Chartered Librarian having gained a BSc in Geography and an MSc in Information and Library Studies. I worked in the Library for just over 12 years before joining the Technology Enhanced Learning Team (now Digital Learning and Learning Design team) in 2012.
During my time with the team I have supported the growth of e-feedback and the introduction of the PebblePad e-portfolio tool within the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing.
My current academic interests include Blended Learning, the use of e-portfolios to support professional development and the use of technology to support an inclusive curriculum.
I have taught on the University’s Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP). I have organised and delivered academic professional development events including seminars and workshops.
I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (HE) (now Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice), I am Ordinary Member with the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
