I work as a Senior Lecturer in Education Development as a part of Education and Student Success at CCCU. My aim is to be a resource for staff to help them design and deliver inclusive, diverse and exciting learning experiences for CCCU students. 

I have previously worked as a Student Learning Developer at CCCU's Medway campus, and as an Associate Lecturer in English Literature and American Studies.  I studied for my PhD in English Literature from the University of Sussex, where I researched the politics of Native Hawaiian resistance poetry. I gained my MA from the University of Kent and my BA(Hons) from the University of Reading.  I started my teaching career in 2007 as a CELTA qualified English language teacher and have travelled widely. 

I am a Fellow of AdvanceHE.
