Following the huge success of last year, we’re excited to launch our 36-hour online and on campus fundraising extravaganza the 23-24 September 2025, all in support of Futures Scholarships and student hardship.

Check out the sponsorship opportunities available, from donating a raffle prize, to putting your name to our epic Gunge Tank Challenge, rising to the occasion for the Great Christ Church Bake off, or making an impact through challenge funding. All money donated will support students with scholarships, or those facing significant financial hardship.

Gunge Tank Challenge 

The epic Gunge Tank Challenge is making its glorious return as the grand finale on Wednesday 24 September. This messy, crowd-favourite spectacle will see the most-nominated staff volunteers take the plunge into the slime to raise vital funds for our students.

If you’re up for the challenge and want to be part of this fun, unforgettable experience, fill in the
Gunge Tank Challenge Volunteering Form.
Deadline to volunteer: 12 September.
The leaderboard opens for donations on 26 August – so the earlier you join, the better your chances!

The Top 10 volunteers will earn their place in the Gunge Tank Hall of Fame by getting gunged live at the event in front of the whole CCCU community! 
All gunge is safe, water-based, and shower facilities will be provided.

Prefer to Stay Dry?
No problem! Support your colleagues by donating and cheering them on during the Gunge Tank Challenge. It’s going to be messy, hilarious, and totally unforgettable – all in true CCCU spirit!
