Whatever your faith – or even if you have no faith at all – Christ Church is welcoming to all.
No matter who you are, where you’re from or what you believe, our Chaplaincy is here for you.
Our team of practising Christians hold regular services in the Chapel at Canterbury and online. They also visit our other campuses to support all our students.
We also have an Inter Faith Council, Buddhist meditation rooms, quiet spaces and Muslim prayer rooms.
For over 50 years the Chaplaincy has been praying daily for our University, blessing the buildings and supporting the community as it goes about its daily life.
Our Chaplaincy team is happy to pray and share prayer times with others, both in person and online. You’ll also find spaces where you can meditate, pray on your own or with others, or have others offer prayer for you in the Chapel and the Chaplaincy Centre.
Our experienced chaplains have decades of ministry between them., They can help you explore your own faith journey and give you advice from a Christian perspective. The chaplains have a distinct belief and they recognise the value of sharing their faith with others and helping people make connections with their own faith tradition.
Experiencing bereavement is both painful and stressful. It’s important that you get the help you need to support you through the grieving process.
