St Martin’s Priory is Canterbury’s hidden treasure and nestles in the heart of Kent and borders the World Heritage site of St Martin’s Church.

St Martin’s Priory is set within the 2.5 acres of gardens and offers seclusion and privacy throughout your day. Guests are able to enjoy a drinks reception on the Tudor lawn and stroll through the Rose Garden and admire the views of the historic Canterbury Cathedral from the top lawn.

On arrival, we can offer you and your guests a celebratory drink and the choice of our delicious canapés. This will allow for yourself and your guests to relax and have an opportunity for you to take some beautiful photographs.

For an intimate wedding breakfast, our historic Frederic Mason Room offers a warm and charming setting for you and up to 38 guests to enjoy a traditional wedding breakfast. For larger parties, our gardens offer the ideal backdrop for a marquee reception and we can provide a bespoke wedding breakfast, based on your requirements.

During the summer months of July and August, we are able to offer 5* University accommodation for your guests. Providing peace of mind for those travelling from afar. Our accommodation is set within the heart of the city centre with picturesque views of Canterbury Cathedral and is just a short walk from St Martin’s Priory. We can offer group discount and early weekend check-in (available on request). The guests will be able to stay in a whole flat together.
