Canterbury Christ Church University started out as a teacher training college in response to a national shortage of teachers. We have continued to enhance our course offering to shape future needs.

We’ve supported the NHS with professional health-related courses for over 30 years and offered professional policing courses for over 25 years. New facilities in the £65 million Verena Holmes Building will allow us to continue our tradition of providing graduates with the skills needed to meet local, regional and national requirements, this time in science, technology, engineering and medicine.
