Graham Hooper
Head of Innovation, Kent Police
Commencing service as a police officer in Thames Valley Police, Graham undertook several specialist roles which included a period in national police training. He also served in several senior national policing roles, with secondments to Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary, the Home Office and the National Policing Improvement Agency (forerunner to the current College of Policing). Graham concluded his police officer career as an assistant chief constable and went on to lecturer positions in London and at Canterbury Christ Church University. He has worked as chief executive for the Kent Police Authority and for the Police and Crime Commissioner. He is currently head of innovation for Kent Police.
Megan O'Neill
Reader in the School of Social Sciences at the University of Dundee and an Associate Director of the Scottish Institute for Policing Research (SIPR).
Megan O’Neill is a Reader in the School of Social Sciences at the University of Dundee and an Associate Director of the Scottish Institute for Policing Research (SIPR). Her work focuses on aspects of police culture, public sector pluralisation in policing and surveillance practices of the state.
