Profile summary

Adesola Osinaike is a lecturer in tourism, leisure and event at Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) teaching accounting, finance and management modules. Prior to her appointment with CCCU, she worked as visiting lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton for four years teaching on employability, business operations and tourism management modules. Adesola also contributed to the analysis of the First Rate Exchange Services Holiday Confidence Index (HCI) quarterly which involves analysing consumers holiday intention, frequency and duration of holiday abroad, cost of booking, travel money and money spent at the holiday destination.

Her research interest is in revenue and performance management in the industry within the small and medium enterprise (SME). Previous research includes research on the adoption of revenue management system in the Hospitality industry using small and medium hotels as case studies. The research focused on pricing strategies, customer segmentation and overbooking management in small and medium hotels. She had also contributed to book publication on Revenue Management.

Adesola have experiences as operations and finance manager in the industry for over 15 years. She is an associate member of Hospitality Professional Association (HOSPA). Her experiences in the industry enhance the contextualisation of her teaching and research.
