“I work as a Marketing Assistant in the brand marketing department at Russell Publishing in Kent. This has given me a range of different experiences including overviewing marketing plans and implementing new strategies to see how they work.
“I’ve really enjoyed my placement so far as it’s given me the ability to learn in areas I was interested in and allowed me to expand on these areas with training days and other opportunities.
“If you’re a Business School student then I’d say definitely consider doing a placement year. Not only does it add to your CV, but it gives you valuable experience and allows you to gain contacts and take a step in to the working world.”
