Your individual student timetable will show you what modules and groups you are expected to attend via MyTimetable. This will be available for when your teaching starts.

Wellbeing and Support

Starting university can be daunting but don’t worry, this is completely normal. We understand that you have made a big step toward achieving your future goals and want to help you make the most of all that is on offer.

Importantly, we care about you, your wellbeing and success. At Welcome Week, you will be allocated a personal academic tutor (PAT) to guide you on your personal development journey but there is a wider University network related to finance, mental health and study skills to support.

Final year students who completed the National Student Survey in 2023 told us:

My uni experience has been a positive experience for me, I've really enjoyed my time studying and learning about the sector I want to enter.”

“Lecturers are very helpful and kind, with a clear passion for what they are teaching, and show genuine care for our work and wellbeing. I felt supported with my mental health with good access to therapy and help with disabilities."

“The university as a whole are very supportive to personal issues which may affect work. I like how no one discriminates or judges anyone's ideas and opinions in class.
