Adult Nursing

If you are planning a career in Adult Nursing, our three year BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing degree aims to prepare you to become a nurse with the knowledge, skills and confidence required to provide high quality patient care in the future. On successful completion, you can register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and apply for a broad range of jobs, in the many and varied settings in which adult nursing care is provided, within the NHS or the private sector.

Career prospects include working in the UK or abroad in Adult Nursing, with opportunities to develop clinical specialist nursing expertise in your chosen area, through Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Alternatively, you may choose to move into management, research or an education-related role.

Our Adult Nursing degree balances academic skills and practical knowledge with equal amounts of time spent in University and on placement in a real working environment.
