Former Staff Association

Are you a member of staff who is coming up for retirement or about to move to 'pastures new'?

Would you like to keep in touch with former colleagues and be kept informed of developments at the University?

Canterbury Christ Church University values the enormous contribution made by our staff and recognises that, during the course of employment, many will develop a strong bond with the University.

Why not join the Former Staff Association (FSA).

The Former Staff Association (FSA) has been in existence for some time and is currently chaired by Sylvia Prosser, former Principal Lecturer in Nursing.

The Association is free to retiring staff and is aimed at being a way for you to remain connected with the University should you wish to do so.

The Association offers its members a chance to attend an annual reunion with lunch and updates on developments free of charge, at which a guest speaker will update on a current University development or topic.  It is also a chance to socialise with previous colleagues and catch up on University news.  In addition, the Former Staff Association members are sent a newsletter each year and offered the opportunity to attend other University events such as the Carols by Candlelight and the Staff Summer Reception.

It is also a chance to keep in touch and hear news of former colleagues.

If you are interested in registering as a member of the University's Former Staff Association, please contact Human Resources and Organisational Development via e-mail at hr@canterbury.ac.uk

Looking forward to meeting you all.

Sylvia
