In this one and a half-hour talk and interactive tour of our laboratories with an academic and/or ambassadors, students will develop their understanding of the differences between specialisms such as sports and exercise science, sport therapy and rehabilitation, physical education and sport and exercise science, sport coaching, sport psychology and sports management.

They will develop their understanding of the shared foundational principles across these areas and deepen their knowledge of the breadth of career opportunities (e.g., sport rehabilitation, leisure industry, and teaching), and develop their knowledge of what it is like to study these courses at CCCU.

Students will also gain an insight into opportunities such as teaching and industry placements, and the industry-spec facilities that may be available depending on their degree. Careers within this booming sector include exercise, health and sports performance opportunities, leading to work in research, the leisure industry, the health sector and elite sport performance environments.
