Management of your Academic Portfolio

The processes for design, development, approval and review of courses are set out in the following pages, together with what to do when changing the status of a course.

These processes have been designed to ensure the University meets its responsibilities for setting and maintaining academic standards, and assuring and enhancing the quality of learning outcomes.

Across the University, terminology will change from "Programme" to "Course", and "Pathway" to "Route" from September 2021 onwards. We apologise for any inconsistency in terminology during this transition period.
