Dr Anne Chant

Section Lead for Educational Studies and Course Director

I am currently the Section Lead for Educational Studies in the School of Humanities and Educational Studies. I oversee the Undergraduate suite of courses and the MA Education and its routes as well as doctoral pathways in this section of the school. I am also the course director for the Postgraduate Diploma in Career Development which is my own background and area of research interest.

I have been teaching at CCCU since 2006, beginning in the Centre for Career and Personal Development and then joining the broader suite of courses including the BA Counselling, Coaching and Mentoring.

My PhD thesis explored the relationship between career and personal identity. I have published two books on career learning and development and continue to use narrative and creative approaches to explore lived experiences of learning and the place of work in lived lives.
