Reflection statement 

This module has introduced you to the PG Cert in Specialist Teaching and Assessment for Dyslexia. In particular, the module has allowed you to explore the key ethical and legal principles underpinning the teaching of those with literacy difficulties. This resource has also delved into the importance of phonics and multi-sensory approaches in teaching learners with dyslexia, including where to source teaching resources. Finally, the module has given you an opportunity to explore core postgraduate academic skills which you will have to develop and demonstrate in your assignments.

Now that you have engaged with the tasks which will help you to prepare for the PG Cert in Specialist Teaching and Assessment for Dyslexia course, consider whether there is anything you may be doing differently as you carry out your everyday classroom teaching. How can you make all learning as multi-sensory as possible? Please save all your reflections in a word document and bring them to your first session.
