Remembering Freddie Laker
This musical production celebrates the success of an unlikely 1970s entrepreneur from Canterbury... Freddie Laker.
He was determined to give the forgotten 'man in the street', the opportunity of cheap travel with his own airline ventures, Laker Airways and Skytrain. He was also a friend and mentor to Richard Branson………
Written by Jane Jones with music by Flora Welsh. Performed by the Really Promising Company; an inclusive, Canterbury-based community theatre group.
