Feature content allows you to draw attention to other web pages and media both on and off our site that could be of interest to users. As with many sidebar content functions, it can be used to augment the main content on the web page, offering supplementary information.

Feature content is made up of several elements:

  • Title which displays on the web page
  • Brief description which displays and adds context
  • An optional link which takes browsers to another page on or off our site - or...
  • An embed with an image, such as a YouTube video which will play over the page in a modal popup
  • Image which displays alongside the title and description. You can upload a new one, or select an existing image from the library. A maximum of 500x500px is required and larger images will be cropped automatically.

Creating a Feature Content sidebar component

You need to add a title, a brief description and then choose an existing link or create a new one to produce a basic Feature Content card. You can embed content, such as a YouTube video by pasting the embed code in the ‘Embed/iframe’ box and then add a relevant thumbnail image which will display on the page.
