You can choose to study from four disciplines within our department: policing, applied criminology, forensic investigation and law. Studying in a multidisciplinary department means that as well as focussing on your chosen subject, you also benefit from learning how your area of study fits into the wider context of law and criminal justice.
We are a forward thinking department and were the first in the UK to achieve the Skills for Justice accreditation. Collaboration is important in both our teaching and research. We work with professionals and agencies to make sure we offer relevant courses that give a well rounded learning experience.
