From a young age, I always aspired to go to university. However, throughout my secondary education, the dream became a little blurred. I lost confidence in myself and began doubting whether I was smart enough to pursue Law.

However, when I went along to Canterbury Christ Church University’s Open Day I instantly felt supported and felt such an overwhelming sense of community, that I began to believe I was capable of achieving my dreams.

For me, this university was just what I was looking for in a University: it was supportive, approachable and encouraged you to do your best.

I remember sitting in my first lecture and experiencing this overwhelming sense of belonging. From that moment on I have been a part of a family. I have continuously been supported to be the best me, both academically and personally.

Without the ongoing support I have received, both in connection to my studies and in my life after university, I would not have secured my conditional offer to study at the University of Law and complete the next steps of my career.

Studying Law at Canterbury Christ Church University has been one of the best experiences of my life.

I have received so much support from all members of staff and without them, I wouldn't have achieved as much as I have. They are like a family away from home.

Not only is the course taught to an outstanding level but my tutors are so approachable and friendly that the daunting experience of university life was a very smooth transition.

I honestly cannot thank the Law team enough for what they have done for me. I began this experience as a timid and shy girl, and I am graduating as a professional and confident aspiring solicitor, and for that, I am extremely grateful.
