Students studying a range of sport courses also have access to the Polo Farm Sports Centre, just on the outskirts of Canterbury.

Facilities include:

  • an Olympic-sized indoor hockey pitch
  • three multi-use rooms
  • two water-based hockey pitches
  • one sand-based Astroturf pitch
  • two cricket pitches
  • indoor cricket nets
  • two tennis courts, one indoor and one outdoor.

The University has five grass sports pitches for football and rugby, and through partnerships with local clubs we can also offer golf, kayaking, equestrian, trampoline and athletics facilities.

Cricket

There are two outdoor cricket pitches at Polo Farm. Six indoor cricket nets can be used all year round. 

Indoor tennis centre

There are three indoor tennis courts at Polo Farm.
