They can help with anything that is worrying you outside of your studies. Our International Partnerships and Development Office is here to help you feel happy and settled in your new home.

Student life in Canterbury and Medway is thriving. There is a real sense of community and plenty of opportunities for you to get involved and make the most of your university experience. We have over 70 societies ranging from arts and crafts, to media, sports, culture, and even food (check out our international food fayre vlog below!).

Through these societies you can get actively involved – become part of a sports team or drama group and indulge your passions.

Students' Union

Our Students' Union is very active and is here to empower you throughout your Canterbury Christ Church University journey. They can offer free advice on academic issues, money, housing, or personal matters – whether it’s a significant problem you need support with, or simply advice on where to get the best sandwich in town. They can also connect you with other students or groups to ensure you never need to feel alone.

Postgraduate students

Postgraduate students have their own Graduate College situated at the heart of our Canterbury Campus. This newly refurbished creative space offers students a place to to relax and chat, as well as state-of-the-art IT facilities which are for the exclusive use of postgraduate students.
