How to apply
The following information provides general guidance about applying to study at Canterbury Christ Church University.
The application process does vary depending on the type of course you want to study. We recommend that you visit the course page and check the ‘apply now’ section to find the application information. Search the course prospectus.
For most of our courses, you are required to apply through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service).
The UCAS application process
The application process follows a general timeline, however, dates are dependent on the year of entry.
- Early September to mid-January: Apply through UCAS. See our tips for completing your UCAS application.
- Mid-January to end of June: As long as we still have places on your course, we will consider your UCAS application. You can also apply through UCAS Extra.
- Early July to end of September: Apply through Clearing.
Visit the UCAS website for application dates and to apply.
Most, but not all, courses offer a part-time route. Students wishing to study part-time should check the Fact File on the course page to see if a part-time route is available.
You can apply directly to us for part-time study through our Online Application Portal. See further information about applying online.
The majority of postgraduate taught courses require you to apply through our Online Application Portal. If your course is eligible for online application, it will be stated on the course page under the ‘how to apply’ section. See further information about applying online.
If you're an international student, please visit our international section for full application information.
All applications are managed by our Graduate School. Visit our postgraduate research section for application instructions.
