You will complete 120 academic credits for your final year of study. 60 credits of bespoke EYITT modules and 60 credits from the programme BA Early Childhood Studies.
- Curriculum Studies: Pedagogy and Principles of Practice (20 Credits)
The module aims to deepen your ability to develop a systematic understanding and knowledge of pedagogy and principles related to the effective delivery of early years practice.
- Professional Studies: Leadership for Learning and Wellbeing (20 credits)
The aims of this module are to support you in identifying and critically analysing current research and debate related to the significant role of the Early Years Teacher and to take a leading role in the delivery of the early years curriculum and professional practice.
- Professional Placement (20 credits)
This module aims to introduce students to the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to become effective Early Years Teachers.
