A self-guided tour allows you to visit our Canterbury Campus outside of normal campus tours and open days, at a time convenient to you.

Getting started

If you would like to take part in a self-guided tour, please make your way to our library - Augustine House - to collect your pack and self-guided tour brochure from the main reception. Augustine House is located on Rhodaus Town and you can find it on the map.

We recommend visiting during weekday office hours (9am to 5pm). Outside of these hours you may be unable to access several areas of the University.

It is not possible to arrange to meet staff from academic departments or view university accommodation during these visits. To do this, you will need to attend an open day or, once you have applied to the University and been offered a place, attend a visit day.

Parking

Please note that there is no parking available on campus. If you are planning to drive to the University, you should visit Canterbury City Council's online guide to parking in the city and its Park and Ride service.

Public transport

Canterbury is supported by excellent transport links, including two train stations and a bus and coach terminal. To help visitors plan their visits, the University has created a downloadable PDF Guide to the Canterbury Campus and city centre.
