Applicant events.

If you’ve applied for one of our undergraduate courses, you may be invited to attend an Applicant Event. An Applicant Event is specifically for people who've applied to study at Canterbury Christ Church University and it gives you the opportunity to find out more about your chosen course, ask questions, and meet people you could be studying with.

How do I book?

Applicant Events usually take place in the Spring and are by invitation only. You should receive your invite by email soon after you receive your offer of a place from us. Some of our courses offer interview days instead of applicant days and you will receive an email invitation as part of your application process.

Applicant Day or Applicant Afternoon?

The main difference, apart from the shorter time frame, is that during an Applicant Afternoon you can attend one subject taster session, while on an Applicant Day you can attend two subject taster sessions.

Therefore, if you have been offered a place on a combined honours course we recommend attending an Applicant Day so you can experience both subjects in your combination.

I felt like I was part of the University already which was great! Everyone was very friendly so it was really easy to work well with them.

I’ve already been to an Open Day – do I need to come?

Your Applicant Event is designed to help you make the right decision about your university choice before you decide your firm choice on UCAS. Unlike an Open Day, an Applicant Event is tailored exclusively for those who have received an offer to study here.

Why come to an applicant event?

What if I can’t attend an Applicant Event?

If you’re unable to attend one of our Applicant Events and would like to visit the University you can book a place on a  student-led tour. A self-guided tour allows you to visit at a time that suits you.
