This research series was carried out in conjunction with Bournemouth University and the University of Essex. It examined the requirements for leveraging Olympic Tourism Flows, Sport and Physical Activity, and Community Engagement, Wellbeing and Pride from the 2012 Games.
In February 2009, the findings of the previous year’s regional roundtables which explored these areas, were brought together at a one day conference focusing on the regional implications and strategies of hosting the 2012 Games in all regions of the UK. These can be seen in ‘Downloads’.
