spear is currently working with Eastern and Costal Kent Community Services to evaluate the positive changes that occur as a result of participation in a range of existing lifestyle interventions. The Bridges to Better Health project focuses on the potential holistic benefits, including changes in behaviour and health related to knowledge and attitudes.
The impact of interventions will be measured using an evaluation toolkit designed to be sensitive enough to capture even small changes, but accessible enough to facilitate unaided use by the full range of participants engaged in health intervention programmes. The project is currently in the validation phase across a number of local community health interventions.
